About

This course explains how to manage anxiety and stress at work and in your life. Feeling stressed or anxious can weaken us physically and emotionally and it can be contagious. It is important to acknowledge stress when you experience it. It may be your feelings about another person, something that has happened or a situation. We all need to learn to be CALM and reframe our experiences, so we can rise above pressures and stress.

In this course psychologist Eve Ash explains four simple principles which will enable you to CALM yourself. CALM is a valuable way of controlling your reactions and calming yourself in situations where you feel tense or stressed. It is a successful way of counteracting triggers that are making you anxious and controlling the things you can.

Learn to manage your stress and anxiety by using the four-step CALM approach;
Count (mentally), breathing in deeply and slowly as you do so;
Accept what you cannot control, helping you to focus on what can be fixed;
Loosen yourself physically so that you begin to loosen emotionally;
Meditate quietly, finding your way to inner balance and clarity;
