We are all good at recognizing negative emotions. These tend to narrow people's focus. Kylie Bell explains to Eve Ash Barbara Frederickson's "Broaden and Build" theory which examined the top ten positive emotions and how they each brought benefits to the workplace. By (for example) enabling people to feel more joy and serenity, they found the freedom to think and be more creative.
