About

Giving to others boosts how we feel and contributes to our own wellbeing. Most people would agree that it is good to give something freely, without expecting anything in return. Research has shown that giving to others can help create positive feelings, and can give us a sense of purpose and self-worth and a feeling of being more connected to others. When we feel more connected to others, this strengthens our relationships, at work and outside work. In this course, psychologist Eve Ash explains that GIVE stands for Gratitude, Initiative, Volunteering and Enthusiasm.
