About

Neurodiversity refers to neurological differences or neuro-variations such as autism, ADHD, Tourette's, dyslexia, among others. However, more generally it describes someone whose brain processes information differently to neurotypical individuals. About 1 in 5 people are neurodivergent. Many neurodivergent people have extraordinary abilities that can be harnessed and valued in an inclusive environment with appropriate recruitment and training, and supportive managers and teams.

Learn that 20% of people are neurodiverse - including many famous leaders, entrepreneurs and creative thinkers who have autism or dislexia or both;
recognize that neurodivergent employees can add exceptional value to an organization - new perspectives, increased productivity and innovation - and stay longer;
Appreciate that autism can enable high levels of concentration - ideal for complex tasks, software design and QA testing;
Ensure non-traditional recruitment and training is offered, along with supportive managers to attract neurodivergent people;
