Managing a Midlife Crisis is a course that provides helpful insights into midlife crises that many people face. Up to 1 in 5 people go through a difficult phase in their life, usually between the ages of 40 and 55. They feel frustrated or unhappy with life, restless for a change and unsure how to move forward.

In this course Psychologist Peter Quarry explains how to recognize a midlife crisis and discover some ways to manage it. A midlife crisis is a difficult time but, if managed well, it can be an opportunity for positive renewal.

Recognize mood swings, frustration, fear of ageing and overall dissatisfaction as a normal phase;
Avoid impulsive decisions such as quitting your job or leaving loved ones;
Maintain a sense of purpose;
Reframe setbacks as opportunities - see this as a time of positive renewal;
