Sometimes a person will disagree outright with the feedback you're giving. Peter Quarry explains that its important to understand what type of disagreement it is so you can know how to deal with it. The disagreement may be about the facts, or perhaps the person agrees with the facts but doesn't think it's a problem.
Handle the factual disagreements with evidence and data. If they disagree about whether its a problem, explain the consequences of their actions and link them back to the original agreed expectations.
