The series uses everyday English as it is spoken in Australia. It is entertaining and informative and shows how to deal with problems faced by people who dont speak English very well.

Hello Australia is a fun way to learn more about English. It can be used for self-paced study or class learning.

Hello Australia was originally produced for SBS-TV by psychologist Eve Ash with instructional design by ESL/TESOL expert Dr Fran Byrnes. Featuring Australian personalities George Donikian, Kay Stammers and Rod Quantock.
